Adopt a Park
The Adopt-A-Park program invites city residents and neighborhood associations to play a vital role in maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our beloved community parks.
By participating in litter pickups and other clean-up efforts, you contribute to a healthier environment, preventing trash from polluting local streams, rivers, and oceans, and protecting wildlife.
Who Can Volunteer?
This program is open to any city resident, community group, association, corporation, or governmental agency dedicated to enhancing the beauty of our neighborhood parks through regular litter pickups and beautification initiatives.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Adopt-A-Park volunteers are encouraged to:
Participate in regular litter pickups in your adopted park, with a minimum requirement of quarterly clean-ups. Groups are welcome to organize more frequent efforts if desired.
Report any necessary repairs, safety concerns, or incidents of illegal dumping through the appropriate channels, ensuring our parks remain safe and enjoyable for all.
